Brown's Feed Store was started in 1961 by Archie and Mike Brown. It was an egg and feed business that was in a very small building on the current site in Carmi. Although eggs are no longer part of the business, feed continues to be. Brown's has grown to 6 locations in 3 counties and 50+ employees. Brown's now supplies liquid and dry fertilizers, pesticides, seed, feed, and anhydrous ammonia to customers in 12 counties. Brown's also offers several services including, but not limited to, custom application of liquid and dry fertilizers, seed treatment, delivery of chemical, seed and anhydrous ammonia, crop insurance and trucking. All the Brown's employees are knowledgeable, experienced, and ready to assist you with your ag production needs.
